Research Associates
The RENCI Research Associates Program gives faculty at the three RENCI founding institutions-Duke, North Carolina State and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill-the chance to enhance their research efforts through collaboration with RENCI.
Research Associates have access to RENCI infrastructure to support research leading to breakthrough discoveries. They also have opportunities to collaborate with RENCI staff and other RENCI Research Associates across multiple disciplines and campuses. In turn, the Research Associates help RENCI by becoming early adopters and users of advanced technologies and by assisting the Institute in creating and deploying better tools for discovery, collaboration and education.
Research Associates are appointed for one academic year, with the option to extend the relationship to subsequent years.
