About the Tutorial:

The second App Lab tutorial will work through an example of using a browser and a personal web servder as a development environment for mobile apps. The session will cover the browser’s debugging and code inspection facilities and the pitfalls to expect (when there are any) in moving from the browser to a device.

About the App Lab:

The RENCI App Lab consists of a cadre of developers as well as a floating stack of shared hardware covering the Android, iOS, and Blackberry platforms in tablet and small-screen formats.  Members discuss ideas for apps, enlist each others’ help in developing apps, and offer each other constructive criticism on prototypes. The Lab is also a learning forum, and members offer occasional tutorials on the app writing process and  developing apps for specific purposes.
