RENCI at Duke University provides leading edge visualization, gesture recognition, and interaction technologies for the Duke University campus. The Engagement Center includes a 13-foot x 5-foot multi-touch visualization wall using six HD projects (3 wide, 2 tall) for a combined resolution of 5760 x 2160. The display wall enables multiple users to simultaneously interact with their data and images by directly touching the wall. The wall is based on an innovative RENCI design that is fully scalable and applicable to non-flat surfaces. The system uses both Windows and Linux operating systems. The Center also includes an AG Node.
