ASHEVILLE, NC—The Asheville-based Applied Visualization Lab premiered its climate and visualization expertise on a global stage at the 5th International Symposium on Digital Earth in Berkeley, CA, June 5 – 9.

Stephen Marshall, associate professor of epidemiology and orthopedics in the University of North Carolina’s Schools of Public Health and Medicine and biostatistician at UNC’s Injury Prevention Research Center, expected to analyze his research findings at his personal computer until he heard about the visualization wall at RENCI’s Health Sciences Collaboration Center.

  RALEIGH, March 2, 2007—The Renaissance Computing Institute (RENCI) at North Carolina State University will open its doors to the Triangle research community on Friday, March 23, for an open house that will showcase RENCI technologies and collaborations with NC State researchers.
