RENCI makes a number of computing resources available for researchers at UNC-Chapel Hill. Among these are a 128-processor SGI Altix (Cedar/Cypress); a 1024-processor Dell Linux cluster (Topsail); a 24-processor statistical computing domain in a Sun Fire 15K (Sunny/StatApps); a 352-processor Beowulf Linux cluster (Emerald); and a 32-processor IBM P690 (Happy/Yatta).
