Hardware

• Scratch disk space for all compute servers
• Machine Name: trunk.isis.unc.edu
• NetApp FAS3050c Filer Cluster
• 9 Disk Shelves with a total of approximately 10 TB
• Scratch space mounted as /scr on Emerald and /netscr on Happy/Yatta, Cedar/Cypress, Macbeth and Sunny
• NAS space mounted as /nas on all compute servers (quota-governed space for patrons and centrally-housed data and applications)

System Maintenance Guidelines

• Maintenance will be scheduled and announced in advance with a Change Notice.
• Unscheduled maintenance may involve little or no advance notice depending on the nature of the problem. An Emergency or Follow Up Change Notice will be issued as soon as possible.
