  • My research interests include resource management, application scheduling and fault-tolerance for parallel and distributed systems - clusters, grids, clouds and HPC systems. I also work on performance analysis and benchmarking for multi-core systems. I currently serve as a Co-PI for UNC Chapel Hill subcontract for Virtual Grid Application Development Software (VGrADS), a NSF funded ITR project. Prior to joining RENCI - UNC Chapel Hill in July'06, I finished my PhD dissertation work at Rice university under Dr. Ken Kennedy. My dissertation dealt with scheduling scientific workflows for grid based distributed systems.
