Min Yeol Lim is a Postdoc researcher at Renaissance computing institute. In 2009, He completed his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science at North Carolina State University. He is working with Dr. Rob Fowler and Dr. Allan Porterfield as a member of High Performance Computing group. His research focus on power aware computing on parallel and distributed systems. The previous work made contribution to saving power (energy) with little or acceptable performance penalty in High Performance Computing. The current work is to evaluate energy savings and performance impacts of adaptive domain distribution on virtualized system environments. He is also interested in adapting power (energy) efficiency of parallel applications on multi-core architecture.
